While I’m trying (in my – little! – spare time) to improve the ‘BlitzMax environment’, I’m of course using MaxIDE X.
And discovered a stupid little bug when opening the ‘examples’ from the help page: usually they are ‘dotted’ – a dot is added at the start of the name to ‘save’ the original source-code. I did something wrong, so this feature was gone. Now I checked the path of the example source code to use the original behavior (the path must contains the words MOD or DOCS otherwise it will be considered as a ‘normal’ source code.
Ok, this is gone and fixed (online there’s the version 1.85 – source & binary for windows32)
What else I’m thinking (‘doing’ is a quite an hard word in this time…)
- toolbar personalization
- some external ‘tools’ (one I’m developing is about using WindRes to have a ‘default’ icon for the application)
- a better ‘home page help’: from version 1.84 I’ve added (at the bottom) the list of the latest file opened…. but I’m thinking to change COMPLETELY the look of the home page (something more modern and efficient, maybe to offer ‘remote’ content about news etc)
- new examples for the various BlitzMax commands (from the base and above)
- a better hires BMX logo… (I know, the icon I’m using now from 1.84 is… horrible!)
Let’s see WHAT & WHEN I realize something about I just wrote!
Cheers to everyone, and happy coding!
