monkey – the new language from the Blitz3d and Blitzmax creators – is finally OUT!!!!
New product, new site!
At the moment you can download (on Win and MacOS 10.6…) the demo (targeted only for NON-commercial products) that produces only HTML5 applications. Just to give a try!
Full price is USD 120,00 – quite right considering you can write once and run on Win, Mac, Android, iOS, HTML5, Flash, XNA! (of course you NEED the complete tool-chain for any tartget-system!)
Documentation (considering the first release) is quite good! There are also many source examples (bananas!) and the syntax is very similar to BlitzMax (there are little differences too in how to write a program – you NEED a main() function!)
