Summer fever – part 2!

Josh Klint – also know as ‘Planted pot’ and now as BlitzSupporter (!) had a new idea.

I completely agree with his vision! No other words needed.

BlitzMax IS still the major BRL’s product.
You can do quite everything you want with it (excluding – for now – mobile platforms).
Add the simple syntax (no damned case sensitive f**ed typing), the vast support for external modules, the multi-target support (Windows, MacOS and Linux) and you have a vision of it.

I like a lot the idea to integrate in the IDE the Steam’s services (the configuration parameters are no so important, but the idea to have an always up-to-date IDE, modules and so on is interesting).

I’m sure also there are some libraries or wrappers to Steam’s game support (badges, scores, friends & co): it will be an interesting features for dekstop games (like on mobile)

Let’s see what the future will bring!

(and Mark/BRL seems to have no negative feedback to this… so no bad news are good news I hope!)
