After many years and many hopes – finally – Max 3d is out.
Mark (Blitz creator’s) has decided to release its latest creation as an open-source project.
The engine (aimed to SM2.0+ graphics cards) is written in C++ (I believe, I’m not an expert) and offers an initial module for BlitzMax (the main target at the moment).
There are a few problems (of course):
1 – you need to compile it yourself!
2 – the engine itself is at its initial status
